I have had a few queries about the Elixinol CBD Hemp Oil so I thought I should add a few more details here of my experience to date.
I first tried the small bottle, what I would call the Elixinol 'test' size, the 300mg bottle. It is far cheaper than the lareger '3600' bottle but the concentration is much weaker and you need to take more than you would with the '3600'. In my case, three times as much as what I take now with the larger bottle.

This is the smaller bottle - 300gm. It lasted maybe a week and a half. I tried both the natural and peppermint flavoured varieties. The natural tastes a bit like seaweed, the peppermint is very strong but I prefer it over the natural taste.

The large '3600' is still going, I have been taking it for over two months now and I'm guessing it will see me through August. It does cost more but you need far less.

In terms of it being shipped to Australia, I have had no problems. Australia Post have delivered each time. It comes wrapped in bubblewrap and in an Australia Post bag. No forms to sign and no hassle at all. The last one arrived in about a week from purchasing.

The product is expensive but when the benefits are proven to be so immense then the cost can be excused. I do think the 3600 is good value for money. Elixinol also has a consultant doctor, Dr Blair, who is very responsive to questions about dosage and helping you understand the benefits it may give. You can find the Elixinol Hemp Oil on a few other Australian websites now but they charge more so be care and make sure you don't pay more than you should. Having only used Elixinol I can't comment on another CBD Hemp oil, there are a lot in the USA but this is the only company I have found to date that can ship to Australia.
As I noted in my previous post, my inflammation reading is down and I do attribute this to the CBD Hemp Oil. Has it removed every ache in my body, no. I don't know that anything can. But I do believe it is assisting with my health, less inflammation, less 'brain fog', great clarity of thought.

CBD Hemp Oil is not medical marijuana. There is a lot of confusion here about medical marijuana and CBD Hemp Oil. The CBD Hemp Oil contains no THC compound, the stuff that can give you the 'high'. Medical marijuana has both THC and CBD in varying percentages. The THC is used for pain relief and when taken properly can have excellent results for chronic pain sufferers.

Hmmm...time really did get away from me!
It has been two months since I started on the 3600 Elixinol CBD Hemp Oil bottle. I have barely missed a dose, I take 15 drops (approx. 1/2 teaspoon) morning and night. At my last GP appointment my doctor noted my inflammation reading was low, in fact he sort of casually glossed over it. "Inflammation, low". I had to ask him to repeat it, while he didn't seem to think much about it, I did. I am very happy to report that the pain in my hip and groin areas have reduced markedly. I can now sleep on my sides, something I couldn't do since March this year, so that is a big improvement. Where I am having pain is the upper area between the shoulders, and this feels muscular. While ice packs were working on the hips, shoulders need head pad. So while my inflammation may be low I am still experiencing pain. The peri-peri menopause symptoms are not helping. Hot flushes for three or four weeks almost every day is not fun (fortunately not the sweaty kind) and do not in any way help with rheumatoid arthritis!

Sugar & Stress & Sciatica
I did go off sugar and wheat during these two months, a very very annoying experience with my GP saw me dive into the Lindt dark chocolate world with revenge and relish...and I have to confess to myself that sugar really does play havoc with my digestion so adieu sweet things once again...til the next moment of outrage!
Stress is the one main trigger for all my health problems, I firmly believe if I hadn't had such a terrible working year in 2015 I would not be experiencing AS symptoms at all. And work has been hectic and at times very frustrating these past two months so trying to stay calm and 'in the moment' has been challenging at times.
Sciatica - dear gods how I hate it! Fortunately, I haven't had it very much at all this year, but this past two weeks I have had it down my right leg and no amount of stretching has helped so I have had to take some Nurofen Plus, which I don't like doing, but I have to concede it really does make a difference.

I have had a very interesting 'medical' week this week and I'll post about it next - getting a second opinion has greatly changed my outlook!

I wrote this update on Tuesday 6th June...the work lurgy really did win but I'll post this update from Tuesday and follow up with a two week update tomorrow 🦄

It has been just over a week of taking the new bottle of Elixinol CBD Hemp oil. Right now I am at home suffering from the workplace lurgy, it would appear that no amount of supplements, stretching, walking, or CBD hemp oil will stop that evil virus!

So, while I am feeling crapola, I can still reflect on the past week of taking the higher concentration of CBD hemp oil. Overall I felt very flat last week, low energy and had the odd over-heating moments at night. There's a high likelihood that I am also peri-menopausal - or as my friend Amy and I now call it 'peri-peri nandopause'...you've got to find the funny sometimes! It's like the second you turn 40 and sneeze a doctor puts it under 'peri-menopause'! That's a whole other world of testing I can't wait to look forward to...sarcasm also helps.

While I may have been feeling very low and uninspired all week I did not need to take any panadol osteo. It wasn't until some tooth pain on Sunday night, a precursor to this evil lurgy, that I needed to take some panadol osteo.

I still had pain during the week, quite bad in the upper area of my spine, between the upper should blade areas, and it increased throughout the week. I couldn't stretch it away. A class I did on Sunday morning actually helped relieve this pain - Bump & Grindercise class with the fabulous L'amour. This is not your usual exercise class, it's fun! A mix of 50s & 60s dance moves and core exercises with many taking up L'amour's invitation to wear your best & glamorous lingerie. It was the first exercise class (not including yoga or clinical pilates as they're very low impact) I have done since my Ankylosing Spondylitis diagnosis in late December. I was pretty happy to have made it through without any joints or limbs going into pain. As someone who loved being on stage dancing - I did both bellydancing and burlesque, it's fun to go to a class like L'amour's - also a well known burlesque performer, and unleash my inner stage diva!

I'm now half way through week two with the CBD hemp oil. It's got to work extra hard with this lurgy....it all better disappear by Friday, I have tickets to Dita Von Teese show and I want to feel amazing by then!
